About Me

Jonathan Bell is a singer/songwriter from Birmingham, AL, and is the owner and operator of Iron Bell Audio.

Jonathan's passion for music began at a young age with learning to play guitar, which developed into writing songs. While in college, he began recording his original songs and quickly developed an interest in production and mixing. 

​

In 2017, after completing several small projects for original songs and collaborations, he launched Iron Bell Audio to help songwriters and artists get their music out into the world.

​

In 2018, Jonathan joined the Nashville Songwriters Association International, and began honing his writing style to fit the contemporary country market. In 2020 he had his first co-write and began to watch his songs improve even more through collaboration with dozens of other writers.

​

In 2024, he moved to Murfreesboro TN in order to get more involved with the Nashville music scene.

 

Jonathan has had copies of songs taken by publishers, a few independent cuts, and several recognitions as NSAI's "One to Watch"

 

Today, when he is not in a co-writing room, producing for a client, or playing at a songwriters round, Jonathan spends time with his wife and two daughters. Being a home studio, those visiting Iron Bell Audio might catch a glimpse of them when heading upstairs to the studio. For this reason, and for reasons of his Faith in God and honoring his Christian values, we ask that no songs with excessive language or explicit messages be brought into this studio.

 

Jonathan aspires to one day write songs professionally, as well as continue to work in the studio producing demos for clients and original songs, and collaborate with artists needing pro studio work.
